Changing providers can be an overwhelming and time-consuming process, and we want to make the transition as smooth as possible. Below, you’ll find a helpful selection of resources to guide you through your transition to your new vendor.
Get Your Data
In Canada, employers are required to keep payroll records for a period of six years from the end of the last tax year. This is why it’s crucial for you to pull all of your historical data before transitioning to your new provider. Unfortunately, once you leave, Avanti can’t retrieve or provide your data for you—for security reasons we are required to delete your Avanti instance.
Wrap up your Avanti Pay Runs
Before you go, be sure to double-check that all your Avanti pay runs have been completed. This includes adjustment batches, manual cheques, and cancel payments.
Transition Checklist
Wrap up your Avanti experience the right way. In the following checklist, you’ll find a step-by-step guide of the tasks that need to be completed before you move on to your new provider. From exporting data and data formats to customizable reports, we can help you cross every to-do off your list.

Exporting Employee Data
To help you export your data from Avanti, we have multiple report definitions that can extract the precise information you need. These reports come in ARDX format (Avanti Report Designer XML).
